For Non-CAAR REALTORS®

CAAR accepts listings for its MLS from any Virginia licensee. We can put your listing into our MLS for $50. What we'll need from you:

• Letter of good standing from your current association (fax to 434-817-2836)
• Current MLS sheet. We suggest you email the Customer Full report and fax the Agent Full report to increase the amount of information we get.
  Note: You may want to include a message with directions from Charlottesville if they differ greatly from those listed in your MLS.
  • Or, print and fax/mail CAAR MLS input forms:
    Click on the desired input form (Residential, Land/Acreage, etc.) to download a PDF for printing.

• Expiration date from listing agreement
• Photo(s), e-mailed. You can include up to 15 photos, JPG or GIF, maximum size 1.5 MB each, and captions of up to 255 characters each if you’d like to point out something specific. We can also include virtual tour files and PDFs of documents such as plats, floor plans, etc.
  Note: We cannot use images that are watermarked with a copyright from your MLS, so be sure to send us original photo files.

Depending on the MLS software you're using, we may need to contact you to get additional information that's required by ours. Usually, we can get reciprocal listings posted within 5 business days of receipt of the above.

Please note that all reciprocal agents share the same ID in our system, which appears on public reports. Your contact information will appear in your listing's Agent Notes field on agent reports.

Reciprocal listings by default appear via the Find a Property option on www.caar.com (CAAR's public property search site), IDX data sets (web sites operated by participating IDX brokers), and www.realtor.com, although you may opt out of any of these when you submit your listing (to do so, specify No on the "show on Internet" [for caar.com] and/or Yes on the "exclude from IDX" option [for other sites]).
